Then, when I reboot my laptop, I am unable to enter my password to even get into windows unless use the number row and the enter key on the number pad, because my keyboard doesn't get enabled even when I hit the NUM LOCK button. Now I'm at the point where the keys aren't working at all. Then the keys started working intermittently. I haveĭone the Filter Keys adjustment that was suggested in several places.

The Enter key works on the number pad but not the main one.

As several (many?) people have reported in the past month or so, the backspace and enter keys on my HP laptop (just bought it in December so it's not an old laptop) have stopped working.
